Yet if you want an example of how it has been put to the best possible use, Tim Burgess is surely the artist to choose. His thirst for creativity knows no bounds, with several books under his wing, continued engagements with The Charlatans and the daily Twitter Listening Parties, one of the pandemic's genuine success stories.

Launching his solo career in earnest a decade ago, Tim Burgess continues to live up to expectations of those who have been with him since the Britpop era. Two years on from previous project 'The New Sky', The Charlatans frontman returns with 22-track double 'Typical Music'. Arriving with an instant feel-good riff wrapped in empirical electronic soundbites, album opener 'Here Comes the Weekend' sets the tone for what's come.
