"A carrier, as in a carrier wave, is how I saw myself fitting into the scheme of things: taking different sources, presenting my take on them, mutating them, hopefully passing them on," reflects Sully, AKA Jack Stevens. These sources have, to date, splayed right across the 'nuum. Starting out as the "aggy" dubstep duo Innasekt, solo Stevens backtracked through 2-step, garage and jungle with a series of discreet yet much respected singles.

The Quietus
Opinion: Excellent

Living, as I do, in a commuter belt limbo boasting a citizenship of peculiarly large forehead size, it's not every day I get the chance to drop a name. But as I puzzled over Carrier, a chance Google search revealed to me that I used to hang out with this guy once upon a time. The Jack Stevens I knew was a reticent metalhead playing dextrous sheet-glass guitar for local Darkthrone-a-likes Niroth.
