Finland punches above its weight in the arts. It’s been particularly successful with music from the outer limits, often of a quirky or homespun nature. Still, some of its musicians tend towards that peculiarly European need for austerity. This is typified by well-connected, black-clad trio K-X-P’s ongoing album titling conceit; more akin to a stock control system than a suggestion of something one might listen to at leisure.
