At times, electronica can come off as one of the coldest and non-feeling types of music -- as it can sound like it's an android behind its creation, rather than a human being. But the 2009 release by acclaimed DJ Adam Freeland, Cope (credited to just Freeland) proves once and for all that the genre -- when done right with a little bit of good, old-fashioned creativity -- can be quite an artistic expression. Although admittedly, Freeland does so by accumulating a gaggle of varied guests throughout -- the Pixies'Joey Santiago, Spinnerette's Brody Dalle, Devo's Jerry Casale, and Mötley Crüe's Tommy Lee.
