Anyone who's considered Chicks On Speeds' endeavours to be merely idealistic electroclash, will be pleased to learn they've ditched the kitschy synths, collaborated with little-known Spanish band the No Heads and adopted a garage guitar sound. The trouble is, they've also stopped writing songs. Instead, there are collages of sound devoid of subtlety; colliding rhythms that make noise rather than sense.
