Album Review: Cusp by Alela Diane

Alela Diane's sixth album Cusp comes five years after her last record About Farewell and was inspired by the birth of her second daughter. It is unapologetically an album about motherhood and all of the life-changing moments and responsibilities that come with it. But any misplaced concerns that this will somehow have an adverse effect on the quality of music should be immediately swept aside.
