A Rocker for the Stage or Bedroom

In the early 2000s, a new era of high-gain Orange Amplification tone was ushered in with the Rockerverb series of electric guitar amplifiers. The all-tube Rocker 15 is the culmination of over a decade of fine-tuning that game-changing amplifier. The 15 offers an easy-to-use clean channel and a dirty channel that will take you anywhere from classic British crunch to the very heaviest in modern metal. Add in power scaling and switchable attenuation, and there's nowhere the Orange Rocker 15 can't take you.

Maximum versatility and easy to use

Rockerverb guitar amplifiers were versatile, making them a staple in rigs for years. The Rocker 15 continues this tradition, offering you two channels with plenty of clarity and headroom. The clean channel features a single volume control. It's carefully voiced to bring out the best in whichever guitar you're playing. The dirty channel is engineered to bring the filth, starting you in crunchy rock 'n' roll territory and throttling you deep into modern high-gain grind.

Dynamic control with power scaling

Sometimes a screaming 15-watt tube amp is perfect for the gig, but it may be a bit much for the rehearsal room or at home. Now you don't have to give up the feel and tone only offered by a cranked amp. With onboard power scaling, at 15, 7, 1, and 0.5 watts, you can get those power tubes cooking at volumes that tailor to your situation.

100% tube driven, including the effects loop

Nothing sounds like a tube amp. Orange knows that, which is why the Rocker 15 is a 100% tube design. The tubes aren't only in the preamp and power sections, either. The onboard, buffered effects loop has been dialed in to give you a more clear, organic, and usable tone — all with the power of 12AT7 tubes. While there are a lot of great-sounding options out there to take you out of the tube world, just remember: nothing sounds like a tube amp.

Orange Rocker 15 1 x 10" Combo Guitar Amplifier Features:

  • 2-channel, 15-watt, high-gain electric guitar combo amplifier
  • Revoiced channels go from chimey to grinding
  • Selectable 15-, 7-, 1-, and 0.5-watt performance
  • Buffered tube-driven effects loop
  • 1 x 10" Orange Voice of the World Gold Label speaker
  • Dual EL84 power section puts the voice firmly in the British camp

Orange Rocker15 combo amp

This thing has a beautiful natural Channel that even sounds perfectly clean and clear through my Gibson Les Paul classics ceramic magnet 496r and 500t pups and a dirty Channel holy shnikies, hold onto your pants this thing it's called a rocker 15 for a reason. Also Jack hacker is the man with the master plan without him I wouldn't still be shopping at Sweetwater I don't think. He is so informative and patient and actually has helped me make so many awesome decisions. So thank you Josh Rock on, and Sweetwater you are the bomb to. Gratitude
Music background: Started late at the age of .....lets just say around 34,and haven't put my Lester down since.I bought 2 Orange amps from Sweetwater, and it all started with buying a Orange crush 35rt

This little monster rocks!

It's a very portable 1x10 combo, weights 31lbs, has 2 channels and switchable 15/7/1w all tube. It is exactly as they advertise it. It can do just about any genre you like, from jazz to modern metal.

The clean channel just has a volume knob and that's perfect for me. The dirty channel rips as good as any other Orange amp I've owned. Don't let the 10" speaker fool you. It sounds huge! Big, thick, and full sounding.

Knock, Knock. Who's There? Orange. Orange who? Orange you gonna get this amp?

I play classic rock and 80s metal and find this amp to be great in my office for jamming and recording. Loud enough to play small clubs and quiet enough to play at night when the kids are sleeping. This amp has minimal hiss and hum and the effects loop is silent even with pedals that are traditionally noisy.

The clean channel has only volume which is perfect for my pedals and the effects loop works perfectly with them. The dirty channel is versatile and can go from minimal crunch to overdrive to almost Mastadon style distortion.

The sound is great to my ear although not what I would call the "classic Orange" sound from the seventies. This amp is well built and light weight.

The only minor negative is the placement of the effects loop jacks and headroom switch which are awkwardly placed on the back and under a recess that is very hard to see and access. Setting this up on a dark stage would be difficult.

Great customer service

My rep is Mike Soper and he has always been extremely helpful. It's like working with a local "mom and pop" music store. Highly recommended!

What Do Our In-house Gear Experts Think?

Patrick Ortiz

I have been playing guitar and gigging for over 15 years, so a reliable and high-quality amplifier is a necessity. As a jazz player who likes some crunch once in a while, the Rocker 15 continues to exceed my expectations. The clean channel allows all of my pedals to shine the way they were intended and the dirty switch provides a great natural and classic tube overdriven punch. From jazz and rock shows to solo and big band situations, the Rocker 15 can really do it all and has become a welcomed addition to my arsenal!

Paul LaFemina

I love the big, thick crunch of Orange amps. But to get that, I have always used their 50 and 100 watt heads with a 4X12 cabinet. That's great for a gig but that not for my apartment. The Rocker 15 is the solution! The master on the dirty channel is effective at 15 watts and the preamp gain really staurates the tone at low volume. I was able to turn it up to 10 but not disturb the neighbors while getting great hard rock tones out of this Orange beast!
