The angled pickup design is effective at balancing notes across all twelve strings, giving bridge-position high octaves a bit more warmth and neck-position low octaves a touch more clarity. What surprised us at Sweetwater is how well the humbucker cleans up, especially in the split configuration. Engaging the push-pull coil-split unearths more of the iconic jangle and bite which 12-string Danelectros are best known for.
