Five Watts of Tone-shaping Flexibility!

Rocking just five watts of incredible tube tone, the Bugera G5 Infinium guitar head is the perfect amp for smaller gigs where you don't need a ton of power but can't afford to sacrifice tone. The classic push/pull Class A design generates balanced harmonics and tube compression, giving you the sound than made tube amps the go-to choice to begin with. Plus, the Bugera G5 Infinium Morph EQ gives you the best of American- and British-style EQs (or anything in between), further expanding your sonic capabilities. Add that to classic reverb and a built-in power attenuator to get true tube tone at any volume, and the Bugera G5 Infinium guitar head becomes an incredible value!

Infinium technology takes the hassle and expense out of tube tone

Sweetwater guitarists agree that there's no tone like tube tone. But we also know that the cost involved in owning and maintaining a tube guitar amplifier can be prohibitive. Solid-state amps have come a long way, but even the best amp model can't beat true tube tone, and Bugera's Infinium technology means no more compromising what you want. The Infinium circuit is designed to optimize the performance of your output tubes and distribute the load evenly between the tubes, giving you tonal integrity and reliability. By automatically adjusting current levels, aging tubes are compensated for and your tone retains that toasty, day one sound throughout its life. Tubes, by nature, do wear out and die, but when you play an Infinium amp, you'll never worry. This exclusive technology allows you to grab whatever replacement tube you have on hand and get back to playing - there's no matching necessary. In fact, now you can mix and match tubes to create your very own signature sound without the hassle and expense of buying matched pairs. And because Infinium is a bit like having your own guitar amp tech with you on every gig, you get up to 20 times more life out of your tubes. When it is time to change one out you'll know exactly where to go, thanks to the life monitoring LED readout that keeps you in the know about your amp's health. Only Bugera makes the joy of owning and playing a tube amplifier this accessible and easy!

Bugera G5 Infinium Guitar Head Features:
  • 5-watt design for true tube tone at reasonable volumes
  • Classic push/pull Class A design for balanced harmonics and tube compression
  • Morph EQ lets you shift between American and British EQs

Great amp, take a listen!

I've used this amp for about 5 years and it's great. I used it on a recent album with my band over borh my early 90's 5150 or late 90's Peavey Delta Blues amps. Have a listen! I play a '95 Les Paul Classic.

Big sound in low watts

Put an overdrive in the loop and this thing CHUGS! Took a while to get it ordered and shipped due to high demand but, well worth the wait. Thank you Sweetwater.

Good little bedroom and recording amp

Happy with this little amp... Using for home recording. Wanted to scale down from 100 watt head... Rolled the dice and am pleased that I did.
Music background: 38 years of eating frets, composing, recording, playing out.

I won't say it's really good for the money, it's just really good.

Bugera G5 Infinium

It sounds great. Plenty of distortion, they say the Bugera preamp tube is harsh but just let the amp do the work and play a little softer And also let that tube break in tried a jj12ax7 usually a big fan of jj tube but not in this case. the effects loop worh great pedal switching no delay time nice reverb but can be very strong when cranked there is a sweet spot I find the power attenuation to be excellent also. over all for the money it is a great litte amp!
Music background: playing since I was 7 66 now
